Now is the time,
the time is now !
The Ancient ones walked these lands since the beginning of time. When the colonials arrived, our people, the original custodians of the land were officially classified as animals under the Flora and Fauna Act by virtue of terra nullius…’no body’s land’. This fact was enshrined in the constitution, the truth of this history and the atrocities and genocide of our people was suppressed. Our deep connection and our ability to care for the land was not
recognised or respected. In the 1960’s we were finally recognised as human beings.

We hold the ancient knowledge on how to properly take care of the land. We have a moral, spiritual and environmental obligation to restore the land back to it's original gowunj-nee (pristine) condition, e.g. cascading waters trickling through the ferns in a place of stillness...a place of refreshing.
